Charna Island is a small island located near Karachi, Pakistan. Charna Island is a small uninhabited island located in the Arabian Sea, about 9 km (5.6 mi) west of the mouth of the Hub River, It is approximately 1.2 km (0.75 mi) long and 0.5 km (0.31 mi) wide. Marine life around this island includes yellow-bellied ocean snake, incredible barracuda, limit banned Spanish mackerel, cobia, mahi-mahi, skipjack fish, angle fish, ocean urchin, ocean fan, shellfish, beam angle and uncommon green turtle.
I had an experience of Snorkeling and Scuba Diving there, It was the richest adventure and experience I’ve ever had, as it was my first Scuba diving experience and it brought me immense adventure.

A view of Charna Island taken from the boat.

Snorkeling:

A typical action performed in warm deep water, resorts, islands, shorelines and essentially anyplace where submerged attractions are recognizable. It doesn’t requires any extra or special equipments. The most important thing that is required is a snorkel (a short J-shaped tube that enables clients to breath while their face is in water), which enables the diver to perceive what is in the water underneath.

Scuba Diving

Scuba Diving:

It is simply a form of underwater diving with some special breathing equipment. Stands for Self-Contained Underwater Breathing Apparatus. It is awesome because it is total immersion in the ocean. it doesn’t require any sort of dedicated training however, but the good news is that this training takes just a couple of hours to understand before you can start exploring. Most of the trainers use signed language inside for words like “all is fine”, “Some problem in breathing”, “take me up” etc etc.

The persons entire body is under the water. The diver’s face (nose and eyes) are covered using a diving mask; You simply cannot breathe in through the nose, you have inhale and exhale air from your mouth-piece that is attached to the oxygen cylinder that is behind your back, except you are wearing a special full face diving mask.

I loved the experience and would do it as often as possible. I learned how to do Snorkeling and Scuba diving which is something i always wanted to do.
