Social media anxiety is very common nowadays, people around us are just becoming used to off it. It is generating a sense or you can say a “fear of missing something” in our minds. This fear is a binding force that keeps their head down and keep them attached to their news-feed.

social media anxiety

From last year, i have tried an experiment, i start deactivating my social media accounts for few days after a regular interval of time and it brought outstanding changes, peace of mind actually. The #StatusOfMind study, distributed by the United Kingdom’s Royal Society for Public Health, included contribution from 1,479 youngsters (ages 14 to 24) from crosswise over England, Scotland, Wales and Northern Ireland. From February through May of this current year, individuals addressed inquiries regarding how extraordinary web-based social networking stages affected 14 unique issues identified with their psychological or physical wellbeing. In most of the cases, they all got negative imprints, also particularly for rest quality, tormenting, self-perception and FOMO.

It might have a positive way too, may be people need to be educated and informed about the world and its new trends and inventions. There were unquestionably a few advantages related with interpersonal interaction. The majority of the locales got positive scores for self-character, self-articulation, group building and enthusiastic help. One should use them as a source of information, instead of making it a vital part of daily life. Don’t get obsessed with its usage.

“Our social tools are not an improvement to modern society, they are a challenge to it.”
